About

The Infrastructure Debt Fund is a ₦200 billion programme established to support critical projects that strengthen Nigeria’s economic backbone. Structured as a close-ended trust, the fund channels capital into debt-based infrastructure opportunities across key sectors including power, agriculture, transportation, healthcare, ICT, and urban development.
Its mission is to provide investors with consistent income while financing projects that deliver essential services and long-term economic value.

Investment Criteria

Project Must:   

  • Provide essential social or economic services
  • Possess tangible physical assets
  • Be backed by credible operators and strong sponsors
  • Follow transparent procurement processes with bankable contracts
  •  Demonstrate solid operational frameworks and reliable long-term revenue arrangements
  •  Include appropriate credit support, protections, or guarantees

Fund Governance

Two core oversight bodies ensure that every investment reflects both the Fund’s objectives and the long-term interests of its investors.

  1. The Investment Committee (IC)
    The IC brings together seasoned investment professionals with a combined experience of over 115 years. Their responsibility is to rigorously evaluate opportunities and approve only those that meet the Fund’s performance and risk standards. The Committee comprises five members  including the Fund’s CEO, the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of FSDH Asset Management, along with two respected independent professionals.
  2. The Advisory Board
    This Board provides an additional layer of guidance, ensuring that the Fund consistently aligns with its goals while maintaining transparency and fairness. It includes representatives of the Fund’s institutional investors and the Trustees, offering a balanced viewpoint and strengthening investor protection through conflict-of-interest oversight.

About The Fund Manager

FSDH Asset Management has operated for over two decades as a leading SEC-registered portfolio manager, fund manager, and corporate investment adviser. The firm manages multiple collective investment schemes and over 15 privately managed portfolios.
As of December 2024, assets under management stood at ₦192 billion, more than doubling in the last six years.
